1 Pick out silver ribbon to make your necklace. You can customize your necklace by way of picking the shade also thickness of your ribbon. Ribbon can be purchased with a fabric or craft store.

2 Method and reduce silver ribbon with the necklace. You can choose how extended or short you desire the necklace to be. Some long necklace would be 24 inches within length. Any short necklace, or choker, may be 12 inches or shorter depending on your neck width. Allow an extra inch on both conclusions of the ribbon so you may tie some knot at each end.

3 Link a knot in each closure of the necklace. There must be about one inch of ribbon left on the closure about each knot.

4 Tie either ends of the ribbon together within any double knot. Make sure there is half an inch of ribbon left at the closure regarding the last knot.

5 Light a match and cautiously soften every end of the ribbon. This will prevent the ends from fraying.

Tips & Warnings

You can dress up the silver necklace in beads. This can create a different look for your necklace. To do this, untie the 3 knots holding the necklace together and string beads onto the necklace. Retie the necklace when done.
