Plate Strainer Large pot

1 Put the navy beans onto a plate. Remove all damaged beans, small pebbles, stones and other debris.

2 Place the navy beans with a strainer and rinse totally under warm water.

3 Put the navy beans in a huge pot. Add enough water so the beans are entirely enveloped.

4 Turn on the burner to medium heat. Take the beans to any total boil and then change away the heat.

5 Allow the navy beans to sit for particular hour.

6 Drain the water from the pot.

Tips & Warnings

Cooking beans with any little piece of kombu seaweed makes them extra digestible. You can buy kombu at many Asian markets and health food stores.
